United States: An American delegation to El Salvador to find out about the adoption of Bitcoin

A delegation from South Carolina, within the u. s., traveled to the Republic of El Salvador to search out the impact of the country's recognition of Bitcoin as a legal currency on its economy and the way it's changing it, in step with Bitcoin Magazine.

Business and technology leaders, health care officials, and Treasurer Curtis Loftis toured the Central American country for five days, traveling across the country, and meeting with several regime officials, to grasp what the emerging technology is achieving.

South Carolina Emerging Technologies Association (SCETA) President Dennis Fassuliotis said in the statement:

“What we saw in the Republic of El Salvador is extremely useful in our efforts to encourage more support and understanding of crypto assets and emerging technologies in South Carolina.”

Notably, Loftis was recently commissioned by the overall Assembly to explore the continued development and potential adoption of Bitcoin, and to spot ways to hunt more stakeholders across the state, while demonstrating the advantages of increased use of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general:

“We have heard multiple stories about how merchants have adopted this technology and their business has grown exponentially as a result.

Although there is a variety of variables to think about, it's exciting to contemplate the probabilities of how South Carolina residents can enjoy the employment of Bitcoin, especially people who board our rural communities.”

Furthermore, Loftis and other members of the delegation testified that the Mi Primer Bitcoin program helps students understand and implement the utilization of Bitcoin with stress on financial literacy.

Treasurer Loftis added:

“El Salvador may be a rapidly developing country, and it's taken a tricky approach to convert a largely unbanked population into a community that's now embracing the employment of Bitcoin.”

On the opposite hand, Loftis stated that he procured the get off of his own pocket, noting that taxpayers' money wasn't accustomed to finance the delegation.
